Smoke Alarm & Carbon Monoxide Alarm Program
The Deputy Chief / Fire Marshal coordinates our smoke alarm program. Free smoke alarms are available through this program. Any Norristown resident needing a smoke alarm, is encouraged to call the smoke alarm hotline at 610-270-2870, or should complete the free smoke alarm form.
Station Tours & Safety Talks
You can request an educational firefighter visit for your school or group, schedule a tour of your local fire station, or fire department participation in a community event. During station tours, please keep in mind that Firefighters and stations remain "in-service," therefore they may need to respond to emergencies at any time. If they do, it will be necessary for the tour to end and your group to exit the station.
