Responsibilities
The Board shall hear all appeals arising from or relating to any matter arising out of the Municipality’s enforcement of the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code, the Norristown Property Maintenance Code, and the Norristown Fire Code. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall issue a written decision within five days regarding the outcome of the appeal.
Membership Requirements
The length of the membership for the Board of Code Appeals is a three-year term. The committee is made of three members. Members must be residents who possess professional experience.
