The Public Works Department, led by Director Thomas N. Odenigbo, P.E., CFM, CSI took on bridge work repairs at several sites around the Municipality of Norristown. Their ingenuity provided cost saving solutions to the Municipality by having an in-house work crew provide the labor. The crew constructed floating docks over four feet of water saving the expense of pumps, and the building a cofferdam to replace and repair bricks under the bridge. This projects spanned over a two week period.
