NORRISTOWN- As Municipal Hall renovations continue, some departments of the Norristown Police Department will be transferring out to temporary municipal offices.
Starting Oct. 14, NPD’s records department and parking enforcement office will be relocated to the Logan Commerce Center located at 1700 Markley St., Suite 104 in Norristown (Located above the PennDOT Department of Motor Vehicles office). The majority of municipal offices have been at this location since early May.
Please come to these temporary police offices if you need to pay a parking ticket, get a copy of a police report, obtain a residential parking permit, obtain a tow release, or need a local background check.
Norristown police station at 235 E. Airy St. will still be open to file a police report. A report can also be filed by calling 610-270-0977. All other police operations will still operate out of the East Airy Street station.
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, face masks are required when conducting business in any of our municipal offices.
The Norristown Municipal Hall renovation is an over $13 million investment into the municipality’s government building. This is a projected 18-month undertaking that will expand municipal office floor space and enhance the customer service experience to residents and stakeholders.
