[ARCHIVED] Community bulletin: Norristown Police records services temporarily move back to Airy Street

NORRISTOWN- People inquiring about certain police records will have to go to the Norristown Police Station on Airy Street starting Sept. 2.

To accommodate staffing needs, NPD’s records department will be relocated from Logan Commerce Center back to police headquarters at Municipal Hall located at 235 E. Airy St. The records department can help you get a copy of a police report and obtain a tow release. Due to a recent move of PD within the Municipal Hall, please allow time for the department to accommodate a local background check if you are in need of this service.

Norristown police station is still the place to file a police report. A report can also be filed by calling 610-270-0977. All other police operations will still operate out of the East Airy Street station. (Parking enforcement will still be based out to Logan Commerce Center, 1700 Markley St.)

The records department will be based out of 235 E. Airy St. until further notice.

Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, face masks are required when conducting business in any of our municipal offices.
