Juneteenth- Freedom Day!

Juneteenth is a municipal and federal holiday marking the end of slavery in the United States. We are planning a day of events to celebrate the freedom of all persons.

Juneteenth Flyer (JPEG)Juneteenth is a municipal holiday in Norristown that celebrates the undisputed first day of freedom for all people who were enslaved in America. To commemorate the day, we are partnering with a number of community agencies including the Great Norristown NAACP and the Norristown Chamber of Commerce.

Live entertainment, market place and food trucks will be on scene to promote the cultural unity of our great community!
