  4. Neighborhood Watch Program Training

    Norristown Police Lt. Michael Bishop will be conducting a FREE Neighborhood Watch training program at Norristown Police Department The program is designed to teach residents how to become more aware of their neighborhoods and surroundings, and what to look for, such as criminal or suspicious activity, and how to report this activity. The program is also designed to help foster the growth of leadership within a segment of the community or neighborhood, and to strengthen the bonds between neighbors in keeping the area safe where they reside. The program covers, what should be reported to the police and how, and observation skills designed to assist civilians in remembering and recalling specific details of an incident or person. The class is about 2 hours in length and is interactive, using videos and role-playing as teaching tools.
